hi,

is your W211 a post 2005 model?

this could be your parameter steering.

a feature only in post 2005 models where steering weight changes as

you drive the car. sometimes senors dont register the need for light steering so

give you heavier one for better feedback.

mine trip ups like this once in a while. a lot lesser after I can my alignment done to perfection!

nothing to do with PW oil.

Ya lai, i mean it takes more effort to steer, harder to steer, heavier to rotate the steering wheel :becky:

me done my alignment ( it still keep swaying a little to left...) You are right, i do feel the steer is lighter when stationary. Nevertheless, it is still harder compare to my previous CL7R :(

in singapore, cars will normally sway left due the way the roads are built

the roads are all tilted slightly to allow quick drainage of water to the left drains. The question is how fast it sways to the left. immediately or after a few meters. if it holds in the lane for about 500 m thats about right. the first couple of alignments i did had the sway to the left, after ASEOP's alignment the car can drive without hands at time

I use to drive a CL7. The W211 definitely lighter and less "feel" compare to the CL 7.
