My Gf collected her B class early this month, after 2 weeks , the rubber door seal and engine has a weird popping sound during engine start plus it has a sound from the back during driving. So she sent her car in. When kena served by the engineer,

1. She told him abt the seal, he asked her " did u pull out the rubber seal?"

2. When asking him abt the engine popping sound and weird noise his rebuttal was " it depends on batch to batch cannot do anything abt it one, u have to see if the other batches of the same car have the same issues"

i hope this boils down to the engineer and not the service centre

cheers

Sad to hear that you had to deal with this when you sent your car to &c for service. Hope the matter got resolved..

sometimes u get people who dont know how to commuinicate or had a bad day . Generally though although c&c has service packages that are north of other service centres, they do however go through a lot more headache then the rest. Merc owners are embassies, VIP, movers and shakers of industry and they demand high standards, and yes we have towkays and others who love the make as owners too, hence the dealership handles a wide array of people of different backgrounds that most smaller workshops will never see.

C&C has been in this business for many years and doubt they want to spoil your driving and ownership experience.

Please note, i am not supporting or taking sides.. just my views.

My friend also kena the same problem from the same service center but we don't know whether the guy who served him is the engineer or just a normal staff.

And the best part is the guy is a foreign talent staff employed.

I will give compliments if I am given good service ....

The bulb for my front right headlight blown and I drove in (without appointment) to the Pandan Centre yesterday. I reached the SC at 11.50 am and I was not expected to be attended to as it was near to lunch time.

The reception collected my key and an SA attended to me within 15 mins. He drove the car to the workshop at the rear and was out at the front in 5 mins. All in all, it took less than 20 mins to attend to the issue. I drove out of the SC before 12.30 pm.

I am one happy customer ....

I must also compliment that the service at See and See IMO is better than PML ..... I was always made to wait and wait when sending in and collecting my car at PML .... the most frustrating is that they texted me to inform me that the car is ready for collection and usually I have to wait up to 45 mins to collect the car. So far, I am pretty satisfied with the service at C&C.

just an update, my gf's car is still in the hospital (9days and still counting...). they still cant solve the engine popping sound when it starts, after changing the tension belt. they emailed merc and gave a replay " u cant do anything abt this issue, u just have to accept this".

car just passed the 1 month old date..
