ECU REmap

Hi All,

Just wanna share my experience with a local tuner here by the name of Monster Tune. Headed by Alvin and Nick, website is http://www.monster-tune.com/

I am in no way affliated with them and chanced upon them in the BMW forums.

Both of them are extremely easy to talk with and honest. For me, they promise only what they can deliver. What made me choose them was not only their honesty and easiness to talk with, but also a 7 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.

I spoke to Alvin first to get a feel of what the process was like and of course the cost. Alvin was very easy to speak to and offered advice based on your particular make of car, and style of driving.

After all the formalities were set aside, it was agreed that I would drop off my car at their affliated workshop in Ubi and could collect it the next day at noon.

Alvin called the next day at around 1030am and told me car was ready, and off I went, full of eager anticipation. When I got there, car was parked at one side, and he explained what he had done for my car, and that it would need about 3 drive cycles to get the remapped ecu adapted.

He also said to call him if I should have any issues with the car.

I could feel the difference in how smooth my car was, the free-flowing rpm movements during gear shifts and noticeably, a more eager car to accelerate.

I was quite happy with the remap and its definitely worth my money.

On a side note, ALvin and Nick went the mile extra when I had to reload the map into my ecu as my ride was giving me problems, which was IN NO WAY LINKED TO THE REMAP. (This is another story for another day)

They advised me with ALL my queries very patiently and professionally, even though they did not have a obligation to do so. They also waived their usual labour fee for reloading the map into my ecu. (My ecu had to be removed due to the model of the car)

SO fellow merc owners out there, if you are looking for a remap, based on your driving style and some oomph for your car, do consider them and have a chat with them. After all, they have a money back guarantee period of 7 days which goes only to show that they are very confident of their service.

Cheers Bros!

Hi Kev, thanks for the very kind words. Hope your ride is back to its best now.

Anyway, we would really want to be a Site Advertiser here, but was told that this forum has stopped taking in advertisers. Hopefully there will be space in the near future.

We would like to take this opportunity to clarify our position (to be a SA) and not to enjoy free publicity. We will, however, be sponsoring the coming AMG and hope to make more friends in this cool site. See you guys soon!:fish:

haha! Same same bro. Sorry had to miss the last gtg, as we had to perform an open heart surgery (rip apart some ECU) to revive some sluggish hardware. Wont miss this Saturday's AMG for sure! :lock1:

Anyway, sorry to cause any issues here. We promise we wont post anything about our service without SA status, so ... peace!!

Well if anyone keeps on promoting on behalf the products are being sponsored we have to do something to protect the interest of the site sponsor.

U are not new here & in car forums, I m shocked why u are asking like a newbies. What if I do delete this thread, have I violated any of your ruling if are the admin here, I m curious too.

No worries, I m transparent on these kind of issues. So that I can be judge by anyone here if I go out of line in the forum. I m taking ACSLK comments postively rather than negatively.

Like what I mentioned, torque was improved, car was so much smoother, power came in the lower RPMs.

As for figures, I did not do a dyno so would not know.

However, I would encourage potential customers to do a dyno before and after if one is after actual figures.

Cheers
