Faint funny noise in car

Hi guys, i am experiencing some weird noise in my car lately.

There is a very constant "tok tok tok tok tok" sound coming from somewhere when i am seated in the car. It appears the sound can come out suddenly at anytime of the day. Even after i park my car stationary, sometimes the sound is still there. The sound is very faint thou , but good enough to irritate.

When i brought it down to C&C, the sound did not want to surface, hence the mechanic cannot derive any of the problems. (

Any of you guys here encounter the same issue as me? Mine is a brand new c coupe car 3 weeks old only. Sobz sobz.

Descript like some mechanic loose or nt fasten properly. Especially when you ve weight on it. Check with yr seat first followed by seats memory boxes set etc...:becky:

This tick tick sound seems to be a common thing since the W203 and the W204 has inherited the genes. It has been discussed before and there don't seem to be any solution because the sound is so soft and it comes anytime or it doesn't come at all for a long time.

Probably I usually on my music quite loudly and it is being drowned out :music:

some of us had it down to either dashboard rattling or seatbelt tensioner. hope this helps. ask CnC to check these as well.

Mine is coming from the gear stick area. Went to CnC n the guy told me it's normal cos it's the sound of gear changing. I do not believe that guy cos I can hear the sound even thou the car is stationary. Nothing I can do unless the gear transmission went bonks... Sianz.....

the guys at pandan has a name for it............... "helicopter sound"

even engine idling also present. Was told usually coming from driver side at the back.

Just sent it in to fix that and rattling from my command display and front suspension noise (should be bushing).

I usually go to Pandan thou its pretty far for me.

Friendly guys thats patient and really knows thru experience.

No BS. The only thing they ask from me.......... time.

Can be a bitch tracing noise so i dun rush them.

Pandan has never disappoint me.
