My 1st Express Service

Quite a straight & quick process, for sharing.

Book a slot via internet.

Bought my own oil from MX Trading, Penzoil Oils. & Original Oil filter from a stockist, these cost me about $110.

Express service & wash took 1hr. They charged me $192 (including GST) for Labour.

Total about $300 and quick.

Happy.

Abt 14k km, did my 7.5k km at MBM.

This one is for warranty purposes.

7mths for 14k thereabts for my usage.

I went to them as they are a Site Sponsor and thus far, my experiences have been positive. I do not work based on "hearing" but rather, on my own experiences.

I will call Mercedes Benz when I m due for 15k servicing n ask if I can bring my own oil n filter. If I m allowed to do so, I may just contact u for the oil n filter supplier

My friend went to MBM n got a bad experience n share with us.

I will go to star black for my other mileage serving.

I just did my express service with MBM (my instruction-oil change & oil filter change only)...under 30 mins (no car wash). Was very impressed with the speed but was let down with the billing. Took almost 15-20 mins to generate the bill. And when the bill came, saw that they charged me $5 for the washer shampoo. Made them drain the shampoo & dispute the billing as it was not stated in my clear intruction. They complied but took another 15 min job...haiz. Overall...1hr wasted.

Any bro has any input on express oil change at Pandan requesting for filter change and use Mobil One oil instead of Shell Helix. How much it cost?

Pandan Loop service centre dont stock up on Mobil One.

Only MBC has it.

at PL.

- 5.5L Shell Helix (but hor, i find Mobil1 more tasty),

- oil element filter,

- engine compartment wash (bery nice, engine bay black black oily oily),

- washer fluid "soap",

- labour (labour is labour, parts is parts, charged separately),

- sundries, etc

ard $385plus.

This one is for Service A1. (15,000 km mileage, simple lubrication only).

With regards to your concern, we wish to share with you that Cycle & Carriage are is tied up with Shell as shell is our partner and in-house supplier. We would like to assure you that Shell lubrication engine oil meets the manufacturer’s recommendation.

As such, our standard lubrication oil will be Shell. However, we seek your kind understanding that the request for Mobil One, are on an exception basis and subject to the availability.

Perhaps you can reply by asking them what is the approved Mobil 1 specification for your car and if you can bring your own oil as such.

Just because they partner Shell shouldn't mean that we should be restricted to Shell especially if Daimler recommends or prescribes the use of Mobil 1.
