? i dun get it.

i think what nightfly means that if you use your own oil then seensee may say that you use oils not approved by MB then they have an excuse to void your warranty. the owners manual states that you have to use MB approved products

well, I guess CNC trust us to know that we bring along MB approved oils as approved in the manual:

for W204,

229.3

229.5

229.51

I checked and as a professional, they also checked. Thus, they proceeded.

A professional would also NOT proceed if they noticed that the oil is not an approved one right? In the weird event that thy proceeded, (assuming one did not bring a MB approved oil and assuming something cocked-up) would not a professional be liable if they allowed themselves to proceed?

in sum, safest, use their oil.

but for those renegades like me, check your manual and then be happy.

cheers.

Don't u think its quite funny for Mercedes Benz drivers to bring their own engine oil for servcicng to save a fee bucks and worse still carry empty jerry can to pour back the used engine oil so that they can go sell used to another workshop?????

No offence to anyone who brings their own engine oil but tapao ur old oil to sell is a bit ridiculous already la haha

Jus chk'd in my w204 for her first 15000 km svc'g. Saw PL Svc centre sells the chrome oval tailpipe for 172. They also have the AMG pedal set for 235. Will prolly get the tailpipe using my Svc credit. Lotsa nice brollies too.

And btw I am already impress with their Svc level. At least the Chinese lady receptionist (name is Rose) is very Svc oriented. I bump into her during lunch at a kopitiam in the ind est and it is raining lightly. She gave me a number for the mech so in case it rains hard then the mech can drive my car here to pick me!! Wow!! Very nice indeed.
