Hi,

Recently I have lowered my w211 and front camber is out. Heard from my regular workshop that there is no camber adjustment on w211 front and rear.

Anyone knows any workshop in Singapore that is good in w211 alignment or can get the camber kit which I read somewhere online?

Tks in advance

Regards

Sam

go to a reputable tyre shop like south asia tyre, stamford etc.. and ask them to do alignment etc... if for some reason your car cant do alignment.. maybe they can recommend something...

bro, not many people really understand camber alignment on W211s. If I am not wrong,

the camber can be adjusted like imprezza which makes it complicated.

I went to do my alignment many times at your standard tyre shop

and they mess it up to the point I thought Mercs cannot be aligned or my chassis wrap. for W211 I suggest a more expert shops like mechanic shops

with proper alignment machines and more expert knowledge.

search the forums there are many. I recommend AESOP at ind park 2 AMK

The malay broke there can be a little aloof but i feel he know what he is doing

and their machine is the same as the one in C&C and major german car dealers. My 211 alignment there one time and its been almost a year, the car can cruise without me holding on steering wheel. Thats what I can good alignment.

however, since you lower the car, its best to ask the mech there how to compensate in the camber. maybe you should be using settings for Avant Garde rather than elegance as AG are lower 15mm compared to Elegance.

sometimes, is because one of your control arms, ball joints etc are worn causing the camber to get off set. plus the lowering makes it worst...

so good to have a mech familiar with w211 to have a look.

Hi Sam,

If I'm not wrong, Mercedes Benz Camber cannot be adjusted like "Toe" but there you can only change the camber bolt.

There's only 3 types of bolt & therefore there's no "slight" adjustment of a few minutes.

Kian Tiong & Sin Ming Autocare #01 seems not bad.

you might wanna try them out.

Strange, my alignment report shows slight adjustments in camber though.

Anyone out there can give us a confirmation on this?

I was doing some research they say when adjusting toe also will affect camber one. So as long as adjust anything will affect camber and caster.

I read on some other site that the camber bolt only adjust 0.5 degree. Now my front is 1 deg 46" and rear something like this also after lowering. Toe is ok but workshop say sure Makan tire one.

The H&R spring (non sport) and b8 combination like not so good. Too low and spring too soft and also camber problem now. Maybe I will take out the spring and use back the stock spring. Higher little and also no camber issue Liao. Sigh.

Yap spoke to Kenny at AMK, is an issue for W204 models. The steering wheel tends to tilt to the left.

same, w211 also have

sometimes the steering wheel tils left is due to parallax error.

til can only be seen when compared to a vertical surface.

Once u mod yr spring & rims this the outcome. Kenny refuses to realign once u had modded these items coz is inheritances issue.
