mate, its a small tyre... not a full sized one.. but yes .. my car does not have a spare tyre but an inflatable kit..as for improving fuel consumption.. yes there is a definte co-relation between weight and fuel consumption

IMHO, I dun think it is a very wise thing to do. My previous car I removed my spare tyre to fit my 2 woofers... But my tyre was punctured once and I had to call for tow truck... I wish I had the spare tyre then...

Especially when in Malaysia, a spare tyre and a can of pressurised sealant is important. I even have a pump to inflate my tyre.

Learned the convenience of having a pump on the last Sgmerc trip to Penang.

Spare is not full-size one meh? My W204 came with full sized and matching alloy rims too.

You are missing the fun part of driving a Mercedes-Benz if you don't take your car to NSHW. The merc is built for the autobahn and it is a pleasure to drive there, not necessary that we have to go fast.

I would urge you to join in the Sgmerc drive to Malaysia.

Btw, there is another auntie's car got stolen in JB, and was recovered a few weeks later with additional items free. A car alarm was fitted into her car that was not there before it was stolen.

Surprised by the FC w/o the spare tyre.

Travel to work n back home journey n check the FC on the meter, for both trips it was 8.1L/km. previous with spare tyre at the boot, it was 8.6L/km.

The Overall FC for current tank also drop from 9.1 to 8.9L/km
