PAP government has nothing better to do. if they willing to spend more time on road catching those class 4 and class 5 vehicles travelling on the lane 1 and lane 2 and lane 3(when there r 4 lanes), there will be less cars hitting 120km/hr to overtake

cars are easy targets. agree w u TP shd go after heavy vehicles buses lorries etc since they cause more danger and always carrying heavy loads

i travel to work by BKE, SLE then TPE. during the peak hours, the lane 2 r often (i try not to use the word ALWAYS) hogged by those GAINTS or HUGE class 4 and class 5 vehicles.

once a blue moon when TP decide to have stretch their overpaid backside, they will book these vehicles. but when TP r not around, these group of vehicles r back to usual tricks again.

Will u follow behind these vehicles at lane 2 or find chances to overtake them? how do u overtake these gaints?

Actually, if you look at it no matter how many lanes the government is expanding the expressways, with these vehicles hogging on to the faster lanes or 2nd lane there will be traffic jam as all the cars, slow or fast goes onto lane 1.

If government is sincere on tackling the congestion issue due to peak hour traffic, why not control the usage of the roads for these vehicles during peak hours. They are actually rules not to have SAF vehicles not to ply the road during the peak hours already so why not control these vehicles? Perhaps have these commercial vehicles pay a premium to use the roads during peak hours. Then these undercover police car can monitor them just like what they are doing for weekend cars.
