rotten egg smell

Sometimes my car's aircon would emit this rotten egg smell. It goes away after a while. I tried to show this problem to the SA when I sent my car to C&C to fix my seatbelt. Unfortunately, I couldn't replicate the problem. I googled about it and learnt that this rotten egg smell came from incomplete combustion in the cat converter (or something along that line).

Does any bro have similar problem?

It doesn't really bother me since the smell is transient. But when wifey is with me, she would ask if I just farted. Ha...ha...

I had this same problem with my previous car, Mazda 3SP, when it was under a year old. This usually happens when I rev between 4.5K - 5K. Mazda managed to fix the problem for me somehow. I have not really experienced this in my W204 though. However, my wife says the car smells like burnt metal from the outside whenever I go pick her up. I supposed the engine is still new? It's still new car smell for me on the inside :bounce:

Thanks. I found the thread.
