Wing Mirror welcome light replacement

Hi Bros, has anyone changed the small w5w bulb under the wing mirrors.

Any bros able to enlighten on steps to access to the bulb, interesting and challenging to DIY the bulb replacement :)

Not speciliase lah!! Two ways to get it done!! Pry the mirror out or remove the side cover. Prying the mirror easy & chances of replacing a new pce is higher. Till now hv not try to pry open a side mirror cover anyone wants to let me try?? :)

what is this light bulb for ??

I believe this welcome light is for those models with keyless entry. When you go near the car with the keyless remote, it will light up the door to welcome you. This is similar to the Lexus I had.

Think the puddle lights provide lighting at night to see where you step as you exit the vehicle to avoid debris and puddles :) I like the nice warm light color..It's on FL w204 as well...

Adjust the side mirror all the downwards. From the gap, look for clips that is holding the mirror, if any.

Tried tilting the mirror to lowest point but still can't see any clip. Even can see also got difficulty reach between the small gap :(
