Hi guys!!

I currently finding performance absober for W202 .wish you guys can give me advice for buying what brand and model. Thank you(:

Hi,

With the suspension, you can opt to change either

1. springs only

2. shocks aka absorbers only

3. both springs and shocks aka Suspension system

hmmm.. if you are looking for performance absorber.. are you looking only for the shocks/absorbers or are you looking at BOTH springs and absorbers.

If you are looking only for absorbers, it has to be "matched" with your springs. so if you have a stock/original spring, you should get an absorber that matches that.

My recommendation would be the Bilstein B4

On the other hand, if you are looking for a spring/shock replacement, you have 2 choices.

1. Eiback Springs/Bilstein combo aka Bilstein B12

2. Bilstein Coliovers aka Bilstein B16

My recommendation would be the B12. It gives the car a lower look and better handling. B16 is needed only if you need the ability to adjust height (between 30 to 50mm) and adjust the strength of the dampers (shocks/absorbers).

Let me know if you need help with either of these...

Of course, the rest of the SGMERC team will be chipping in with their point of views :)

Enjoy your ride!!!

For the B12 I not sure can install on it a not? cause my absober is separate with the spring kind

B12 is separate kit.. spring vs shocks.

Essentially B8 Shocks with Eiback Springs.

BUT, if you are still using STOCK springs and don't intend to change them, I will recommend NOT to change to the B8 shocks.

Instead change to the B4 Bilstein which is rated for OEM springs.

Can I claify... do you intend to change ONLY the shocks aka absorbers?

Cheers

Koni FSD ! Has the best of both comfort and sporty handling ! No need to fiddle with ride height knobs or go under the car and get your self in a mess. Install and forget abt it as it automatically changes to suit road conditions as well as driving style !

if you alrady have aftermarket lowered spring.. and are looking only for shocks, I recommend the B8 :)
