Uneven Wear On Front Disc

CnC found that my brake pads are down to 10% and that my front discs need to be replaced because they are 'unevenly worn below spec' during a servicing yesterday.

The car has done about 60+k km. Brake pad wear is normal but are brake discs supposed to have such uneven wear? I'm not akin to sudden hard and long braking so what are the likely causes

Oh - any recommendation for a place to get the job done at a decent price will be appreciated. I was quoted 1.56k.

mate... uneven wear is common, so dont stress, go get the job done at any reputable workshop... original parts or oem.. your choice.. check with starblack, or call any other reputable workshop on the phone and get a quote.. job shd not be more than 2 hours. and definely 65 percent cheaper...

Rotor is the cause of uneven pads. If u want to save some cost about $100 on a new rotor. Ask yr workshop guy to skim yr rotor instead.

Bro nightfly, wat bro blackmercs abv quote re correct. Its common to hve rotors wore due to petrol kiosk car washg where u d yr brake system jet spray while yr ride re pretty hot still after driving or improper installg of brake pads or dirts trapped on e bake pads surface. All possi!

Aso w tat mileage u ve its abt time.

Skim yr rotors first n I believed yr rotors wears rate only allow once n u can saved a lot. :music:

Bt brake pads gotta change still hor! :washing:
