Command online system

Comand system is damn cool. I especially love the linguatronic (voice command system), works well for the commands i gave, except it got some of the names in my phone list wrong.

Navi is quite a PITA, firstly postal codes dont work, which is verified by my SE. Next, we have to search using 'towns', 'cities', etc which is quite troublesome. Map is also not very updated as some places are missing, and my SE told me to just link it to the nearest POI. Once you can get past all these, it is actually a very good navi system.

Other cool features are USB, iphone cables, SD card, dvd system, tel, and the online system which is supposed to allow you to surf web, and get real time updates on weather and traffic (I have yet to try it). In all, a really value for money system which I am glad CnC gave it as part of their 125 promo

I tried to use the online system. But it asked for my name, address, email address, etc. With just the knob, it's damn frustrating to enter the details. As I was waiting for Wifey at that time, I tried to do it. Got interrupted. Haven't tried again since. How about you? You managed to get the online system to work?

Yes it is damn frustrating to key in details using knob. But once you do it then you can access the online system. So far there is only weather reports and forecast for the next 5 days. I think it uses the phone's data plan via bluetooth tether.

It can also access websites, i think they have a web browser built in. But then again same issue, it will be a pain to key in website addresses. Havent tried it though

There is a merc upgrade for that...

GPS maps? YOu should have the latest already.

But in future, there should be newer maps...
