I was thinking not to take up the MBC inhouse insurance too. I have checked Aviva insurance is only around $800 for me after 50% NCD for my new FL C180K. Dont know about Chartis? Any idea how much will Chartis quote with 50% NCD???

Hi Bro, I think it is important to compare what type of coverage the insurance companies are offering when doing comparison. For me, i took up chartis becos I felt that the coverage is more comprehensive although is slightly more ex than others. Another reason is also becos my wife is from AIA, so everything goes thru her to handle.

You can actually ask your SE for an instant quote. They have a handbook that lists all the premium amounts with NCD for Chartis.

Chartis has an age limitation policy that is lower in premium. I took the minimum 35 year old driver policy since no one younger than 35 will drive my car. This is an excuse not to hand my key to anyone younger too, I guess this includes valet drivers.
