Guys,

For solar film tinting:

Was thinking of going dark 75 percent on rear windows as well as front windows as well as rear wimdscreen.

But only the front wind screen keep it normal tint 50 percent.

May I know the legal percentage darkness is what?

But if I want try dark but not too beg, any advise?

Also should tint panoromic roof?

The Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) Regulations state that:

Window film must not be of the reflective type.

The resultant light transmittance for the front windscreen and two front side windows must be at least 70%.

The resultant light transmittance for the rear windscreen and the rear passenger windows must be at least 25%.

The front windscreen must not prevent, obstruct or interfere with the transmission of signals between the In-vehicle Unit (IU) and Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) facility.

Was thinking of doing all 25 percent except the front windscreen at 70 percent.

Any thoughts?

Was thinking the front windscreen at 70 would already let quite a lot of light in to make the front side window to not look so dark?

Plus the help of pano roof on top should be all right ba...

U might want to think about visibility when doing night driving plus when raining... It might not be very visible given the fact that The side mirror will also auto dim at night...

Having said that I still tinted my side at 40%... So far so good when driving at night.

I used to tint 75% black on the rear windscreen.

That plus the dimming rear mirror, I can't see nothing in the rear mirror.

Drove the car like a van for awhile until I removed it. Haha...

Hi all anyone tired doing back side window and back windscreen at normal 25 percent see thru but in front windscreen and front side mirror do 50 percent see thru rather than the legal 70 percent see thru?

Is there such variation?

Yes bro, I did my front legally at 70 while my sides at 40. Then the smaller side window and rear I do 25.

They have different tint selection for you. But it will look very weird if all your windows have different tints.... It's better to have as much consistency as possible... I did my sides at 40 for safety reasons.. Else I would have gone 25 as well.. Haha
