Imagine our national swimmer Tao Li swimming.

AMG = super duper Nike aquadynamic swimsuit

Avangarde = Arena swimsuit

Elegance = skinny dip

Which one produce fastest timing? go figure!

Remember, it's the same body but different accessories.

reset-button1-297x300.jpegIn this case I would prefer the Tao Li Elegance Model! :popcorn:

basically no one can ever answer this question.

even the engineers cant answer.

they will only base on the basic model and say how many secs etc zero to 100.

but when u add avantgarde or AMG no body can answer...

which means in the end its all about vanity.... ahahhaah

I can answer this question without a doubt. You are only looking at only one aspect of a car's performance, ie 0-100km/h sprint. A bit naive leh. :fish:

The right comparison is total overall performance. A W212 packed with AMG option will outperform a W212 elegance model in a gymkhana or race circuit by virtue of the fact that it has better suspension & brakes though they share the same engine.

Yes i have...but not in my merc yet. Used to track quite a bit in Pasir Gudang in the 90s & couple of times in Sepang. Used to participate in local autotests & rallies too. I have fond memories with my suzuki GTi & lately Golf Gti.

For a flawless ride

The E-Class Saloon’s impeccable ride quality is founded on a range of advanced suspension set-ups.

Fitted as standard, Direct Control with selective damping adapts shock absorption to suit the driving situation. During normal driving, suspension takes on softer characteristics for optimum comfort. When driving is more dynamic, damping becomes firmer to maximise stability.

For added agility, we’ve developed a sports-orientated version of Direct Control. Available as standard on the Avantgarde and Sport models, the suspension is lowered by 15mm and offers even more taut handling and response.

think the one i tested 7g tronic is the elegance version at C and C.... super light feel....
