Usually it will be at Servc Assyst B + ard 40000km - 60000km fr stock spark Plugs. :becky:

on paper, the w211 comes with iridium plugs which only require change every 100 000Km. Converting paper to real life:

a) this is singapore with lots of jams and start stop so advice is to change it like 60 to 80K Km instead of 100K. this applies to the Transmission and engine oils as well. Some people in europe dont service their car in no less than 15K Km.

if you did not buy your car brand new, the last owner could have be an idiot or got conned by ignorant mechanic and put it normal plugs which will require change at a max of 20K km. so advise is to change to orig MERC plugs now.

I did just that when I got my car around 80K milage and boy, I could feel a 3- 5% increase in power. one MERC plug is around S$20 if they can supply 4 plugs for less than S$20 you will be sure they are not iridium.

totally agree, best to change plugs (mine is the W211 Avantgarde) at 60K km or 3 years which ever comes 1st. Also have it removed & cleaned the carbon deposits off the tip & around the plugs & re-gap them every 20K km (about once a year)....our road conditions are very diff from US/EU or even Aus.....
