Does PI cars with COMAND have maps inside?

PI cars with COMAND:

1. what can be used on COMAND?

2. have maps? = if no where to install and how muchie?

3. What are the main differences between C and C bring in with COMAND vs PI bring in with COMAND?

Basically if PI car come with COMAND, what should be done to maximise the usage of it to full functionality?

anyone here have e class and come with COMAND from PI?

Hi Bro,

1. Comand provides functions inclusive of navigation, DVD playback, hard disk storage for MP3 music, bluetooth telephony and phone book, radio with voice control.

2. Depends on where the P.I. comes from. If it comes with UK, usually the Europe is there by default. I can provide 2011 Jan S.E.A Map update at a reasonable price.

3. Basically also depends on where you import the car. If car imported from Europe or Hong Kong, supposedly the hardware should be the same but software just depends on year of build and may be some mirror difference there.

We have changed the map to S.E.A version for may P.I. E-Class.

Yah. SEA map installed by PI. Play with that weird linguatronics (must speak near perfect english for system to understand even after training), but nice bluetooth, DVD changer, great sound.

my PI ecab came with local map(msia and sing) and relatively easy to use(postal code search etc)...only thing is need to manually change map (choose either sing or msia) when crossing over...
