they come in sealed blister pack and show 3V on the pack and on the battery itself leh...:shocked:

I think what Unker meant to say was that the actual measured voltage across the +ve and -ve terminals of the cell (using a voltmeter) should read >3.2v when you break it out fresh from the pack. The cell should also be flat and show no sign of bloating. Of course the standard indicated voltage on the packaging is 3v.

Bro nightfly is right!

If the battery sitting on the rack for a long time cos boh seng li, due to the cell internal resistance there will be some self discharge.

This will lower the original capacity of the cell.

Though not a direct relation of voltage vs capacity, say the voltage drop to 3.05V. U cannot claim leh cos package label say 3V when typically a fresh cell is >3.2V.
