Hi bros,

SE called last Saturday to inform that my W204 is awaiting papers at the port before being shipped to Singapore. Typically, how long more do I have to wait before I get my hands on it?

Can someone also advise on what grade of petrol is recommended for the C180 CGI?

Your valuable advice will be much appreciated. :)

I encounter the same situation when i got my ride. Usually abt 1 month shld clear the issue. Maybe u can remind your SE again if drag on too long as they may delay if we keep quiet abt it.

For me i always go for Shell 98 thou lotsa friends say 95 will be gd enough... :)

Another question on FC. Does the sports mode have a higher FC? If yes, how much higher? Appreciate your valuable feedbacks.

Sports mode? u mean standard mode isn't it? C Class do not have the sports mode.

Can't remember what's it called really. The last I test drove it was like 3 months ago and I'm still waiting for delivery (can't understand what's taking Merc so long to deliver my car , as the new C-Class coupe is already running on our roads). As far as I remember there this mode that makes the car drives a little livelier.

C class does have Sports mode. If it's an AMG package, there's also a M (manual) mode. Sports mode tend to drag each gear longer & higher before it upshifts & downshifts more eagerly when slowing down for a corner or a quick takeoff from slow traffic. It's basically a lot livelier as you said but FC is somewhat higher naturally. But if you drive like a grandma on sports mode, you'll hardly notice the diff from E mode, FC may not differ.
