Halo Seniors

Need your advises.

I have crack on my windscreen and wanted to claim from my insurance, the workshop in charge of my claims have proceeded my claims.

But the thing is, the new windscreen will take 1 month to arrive.....:Cry::Cry:

Can I have your advice how can I quicken the process??? As I noticed the crack is getting longer inch by inch.

Many thanks in advance

If done by CnC they should have stock and takes only 3 days!

Why not get your workshop to check if they can buy the windscreen from CnC Parts Dept.

You may want to contact our site sponsor GlassMedic to see if they can stop the crack from getting bigger till your new windscreen is here.

Check yr insurance contract for authorised workshop to replace the Windscreen. Call them for stock availability. One month leadtime is a joke!!

Haven't heard such long lead time to replace the windscreen before..shocking ....

Which C-class model and insurance co are u wif? 1-mth waiting time is absolutely freakin' ridiculous.

My previous Volvo, which is less common than a merc, onli took a day to settle. Morning drive into STAR, 5pm collected car- fully settled by AXA.

Thank you for all the advises. Called up my insurance and they are arranging another workshop to do it for me.

Heng ah... If not , I blur F waiting for 1 month and drive in fear of the windscreen collapsing on me

windscreen may all look the same but in my personal opinion, original windscreen on original fitting shld be better ba. Repair rather than replace if possible, could be "healthier" option in the long run..

Agreed with you Bro,

My experience was is seem like having more wind sound from the new windscreen compare to the orginal fitting...
