Brake Servicing - Anyone ?

Answer the following below questions on a keyboard and post:

1. Have anyone heard of brakes servicing? Recently I have heard from a friend that it is advisable to have the brakes system serviced after one year driving. The servicing comprises of sanding of pads+discs and lubricating the moving components.(1 Kopi)

2. Any opinions in replacing brake fluid? I thought of changing it from current dot 4 to dot 5.1.(1 Tea Halia)

I did mine brake servicing at StarBlack cos of noisy brakes during reverse parking.

Sanding of pads n discs was done.

1st few days, noticed less brake dust on rims n after 1 week, back to normal liao.

Feels gd. Sounds gd. but no gd to wallet.

2. Any opinions in replacing brake fluid? I thought of changing it from current dot 4 to dot 5.1.(1 Gong Cha 0% sugar 50% ice)

This one i dunno, how many dot dot dot dot dot dot is good...

Any inputs from any bros with goose big brakes?
