New W204 FL- Wing Mirror Tilting Function

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to MB. Really happy to have collected my C180 Kompressor 1.6L recently.

Was trying out the function of wing mirror tilting function for reverse parking as written in the manual, but found not working.

Could there be a problem with my car or my car does not come with this feature:confused:

Does any of the Bro/Sis here driving this FL C180 Kompressor 1.6L face the same problem too, can share on this?

Hi bro welcome to the forum ! First of all have a look at your mirror selector and make sure that the left mirror is selected then engage your reverse gear. Hope this helps

Hi Meka, welcome in:welcome:.

My E-class comes with this function. Not certain on the C180 1.6L. But I pretty sure its has been discussed before. Do a search, you might find your answer.

Do join us at out monthly GTG and lakopi session, under the event thread. And get your Mod poison there...:becky:

Hi Tilting mirror function is a package that works together with memory seats. The C180K 1.6L has no memory seats, therefore will not have this feature.

Only those cars that comes with memory seats will have tilting mirror function.

Bingo!! Do read up yr manual as much as possible. Most of the answer can be found except mods .

yeah... i had to consider several times before plungging into the 1.8L C180 CGI version... engine, gearbox, memory seats etc...

but most imptly enjoy your ride
