K&N sports air filter

hi, anyone have installed this can intro cheap lobang for me ? :becky: also those who have this on , can provide feedbacks ? new to merc poison as im still young and poor , so start off with cheap poison first also heard good and bad comments and dunno which is true, some say it works like a charm and makes the engine breathe better thus a slight improvement when WOT and also will sound nicer :becky: otherwise also heard bad remarks that it is useless and might let in more dirt particles instead of preventing it, engine might have the risk of damaged and engine oil will be dirty? any shifus out there can enlight me? thanks! :bounce:

it allow better flow of air that's all, small mod, not bad........

KNN best... put liao throttle lighter and better FC for me :becky: get from sonic gd price :becky:...

they dun recommend hurricane as its filters less particlars and not gd for our MAF.... but for jap cars its okie

most bros whom installed K&N air filter be it a drop-in or open pot re satisfied w their claims. Tat incl myself nt only on my current ride (W204 180k) bt on all my previous cars. :pray2:

Im using Hurri filter.

pros n cons similar to KNN.

I had one KNN in my previous ride.

After sometime, lazy to take out to wash n oil cos it's supposed to last like 50,000km or so. Some say the oil works better, the longer it sits in the filter.

now giving Hurri a try.

I more kiasu. I take out n wash once every 2 months.

Feels like "virgin" after each wash.

U can't wash KNN, as n when u like.

hurri gives u a diff feedback on pedal feel n acceleration once u installed it. Similar to KNN.

Some bros say Hurri can't trap dirt as well as KNN.
