Hi

Does C&C give a few days' advance notice prior to car collection? My fren was informed of his car no. in the morning and collected his Saab in the evening. But my experience with Tan Chong was different, as I collected my car a few days after knowing the car no.

Please enlighten. Thanks

U may try to tell your SE to give u at least 2 days notice or you might not be available for the collection....

Welcome!! I m sure yr SE will inform you when is the collection date. Else u can instruct them the actual date of hand over. This applies to all makes, if ex stock 10 days later you can collect yr car for See&See.

In China, owner can collect their car & drive it on the road without nos plate for a month .

My SE can't give me a firm date yet. I guess the car is still in the factory. So I can't give him my preferred date. On the other hand, I want to collect my car ASAP. I'm torn....haha...

How long does C&C take to do pre-inspection delivery? I understand Saab takes about a week to do so.

Since that's the case, my SE should be able to give me a week's advance notice.

Mine kena delayed a week over the promised delivery date. As they oredi took in my trade-in car, C&C loaned me a C200 Komp to potter ard for a week.

That's a good gesture from them. An excellent way to do service recovery. Not sure if other dealers will do the same, beside apology.

Congrats on your new ride! :thumb:

Once your car is registered, it will take a day or two before delivery depending on the trucking schedule.

Furthermore provided you are not doing Huber Optic Solar Film, Nano Sealant, reverse Cam where applicable, etc. Nano Sealant will take 1 day, likewise Huber Optic will take another day.

When the "date" is near, call your SE for updates every 2 to 3 days.

I usually very kiasu & check LTA site daily when the car is due for registration.

Once I find the car is registered, then I would proceed to save all the on-line transactions done & documentaions in pdf format. :becky:

Before the SE can inform me, I would have knew that my car has been registered.....
