replacing my c180k w204

Hi

I'm thinking of replacing my 3.5yr old c180 with the new c180 blue efficiency (1.6). But after test driving it, i find gap between is the especially at lower speed big. Budget wise I'm ok with the price of the C180. Anything more would be tough.

Was wondering if there is any other alternatives?

Agree with hannson...it's a worldf difference. 1st thing you will note is that there's no irritating whining SC sound...very refined indeed. Then there's the power diference. Seriously, why change from 1 kompressor to another kompressor? Upgrade to CGI bro..

The FL c180 blue efficiency is a 1.6k while the new FL C180 CGI is also blue efficiency but its a 1.8T

kompressor to kompressor, u wun feel much different except newer interior.

give urself a chance...give the car a chance... try out the CGI 1st..

Budget wise, perhaps u would like to take a look at a 1-2yr old C200 CGI?

unless u would wan to go for a brand new horse.

keep the power there if not, i dun tink u will enjoy ur next ride.

I say, bite the bullet and go for the FL C180CGI.

The price diff is only $16K, for that you get the 7Gtronic plus transmission, larger, newer, cleaner (the CGi is Euro5, whereas the Kompressor is Euro4), faster engine; and memory seats, higher OMV.

Look at it this way, the extra $16k will translate to additional $200 more installment per month (for 7 year loan). But 7Gtronics and CGI direct injection will give you better fuel consumption.

All new FL C Class going to get Comand NTG 4.5 as standard but dunno wether it applys to C180K (1.6L). If it applys to C180 cgi & above, then it make more "cents" to go for the C180 cgi. :bounce:

Command is standard across the C-class, but they up the price by 4k for the C180k. CGI more value for money now.

i still decide to take up 180K offer instead of 180CGI due to CAT A CEO.

CGI is selling at 196k with AMG kits. Out of my budget. Have to make do with the engine at 180K. Where do u buy a Benz at 140k n less these days.

140k++ i guess? And is for the kompressor without the comand and gps? Listed price should be 169k, after overtrade of 12.5k, servicing voucher 4k, plus some hard haggling, slightly below 150k? My guess only..

172k is for the 125 anniversary version with comand and gps. But before any overtrade, vouchers, etc right?

Already signed the agreement for the 180K. And I was told if I want the CGI model, I need to wait till next yr and same time suffer lower overtrade for my old car.

I know 180K has a noisy engine. That the difference I feel.

140K is the final price after factoring overtrade, discount and service charges credit. I feel is very valued for money. I still has the 17" rims, command online and all the extra stuffs that are installed JUST for this 125 yrs promotion

My solar film is same as yours. I don't need gps as the car comes with installed command online
