Replica are illegal bcoz of copy rights. As for whether the replica rims will crack or not is subjective. I've been using replica rims for many years on normal road usage & NS, not issue at all except for tracking.

Hi, for copyright issue you called the revelant authority. C&C don't bother abt the replica rims when I send in for servicing, not for my case though.

Usually the replica rims don't do 100% duplicate to avoid copyright issues, eg there's no AMG logo on the rim. These are normally Taiwan made branded replicas...quite good but caveat emptor. There are those that blatantly copy 100% duplicate...these are the ones you have to be careful as their origin is questionable, definitely should avoid.

I've had replica rims for the longest time over many cars including my 2nd set of AMG reps on my W204 all no problems so far. ANY RIM rep or OEM will warp/crack if they encounter a big enough hit and pretty much all reps rims so far have never just failed for no good reason. IF you've got enough $ and wanna spend buy OEMs amg, however i'd much prefer to stick to my reps and get good tyres and save the extra $ on more mods. Cheers bro !

This is a tough call.. to go replica or not...

I agree with bro JTang that quality on replica may not be as good as originals.

But as hkhamateur and rssid mentioned, there may be good replicas as well.

At the end of the day, IMHO, be aware that you'd probably get what you pay for. As long as you're satisfied with your decision, that's the most important.

Personally, I'd either stay stock, or upgrade to originals (other pattern) or buy aftermarket like BBS or Breyton etc.. it's very personal preference.

Enjoy your rides!

CnC rotation service is not a free job...pay them to do it & they refuse this business??

they gave an excuse saying that my rims are aftermarket rims, so I have to do tyre rotation outside. but when i send in for servicing, they still do tyre rotation for me.... hahaha
