Anyone has this expereince with your 7Gtronics?

Hello everyone.

I am facing a problem with my 7G-tronic since two weeks on my CLS350 - 2006 with 110 000 km (around 60k miles).

Abstracted form Benzworld....(alot of benz forum around the world also posted this..thks for sharing experience and solutions..)

" Sometimes when I stop and then accelerate the gearbox are not changing the gears, but only drive in high RPM. When I turn the engine off and then on, the problem disappears. Also I have noticed that in last few days when I am trying to accelerate it seems that the engine has no power to do it and when I stop and put on R, the car acts like it is on N - no move, only high RPM. Another thing that there is some little jerk from the behind when I put on P to R/D.

I will be able to visit local dealer next week - Thursday or Friday, so I have no possibility to check with them what is happening with my car.

So can someone help here? What can I expect? And should I let the car in the garage until the diagnosis? ":shocked:

Yes they are, another shop near by is ellipse auto transmission, you may get a second opinion there. Look for ah seng if you need.
