WOW thanks all for the warm welcome!

I just missed the GTG, checked the topic and only just realised it is happening now! Will definitely try to make the next one.

Now trying to sort out my insurance and finance. Aviva's quote seems to be lowest at 1.6K, but not sure why a few people including my SE say better don't take Aviva. Also better to get 'all workshop'. Have to wait till Monday to hear back from my broker.

If all goes well.... Tuesday pickup!!!

Think last night too excited couldn't sleep properly... 2 more nights to go :bounce:

Aviva??.....juz be prepared to get your coverage void if u are even planning on adding a non-factory fitted air fresher. LOL!

anyway, guess most of those who bought new from C&C are insured wif Chartis. find that their premiums and coverage not too bad. confirm can go back to C&C even after warranty period.

Wah, seems like "all workshops" and "authorised workshops" insurance is about $300+ difference!

Looks like I will go for authorised workshops and hope no accident. :becky:

Juz received my renewal notice from Chartis under the MB Insurance Programme. Abt $1200+ and incl NCD protector and free use of car up to 15-days shld the car be warded. That's pretty good actually. Tried asia direct online quote - similar coverage works out to abt $1500.

I went with AXA, about 1.6K, even cheaper than my last car which was a small conti hatch!

But authorised workshops only...

Hopefully won't need to use but if unlucky... any idea which of these would be best?:

Ah Lim Motor Company

Charn’s Customcraft

ComfortDelgro Engineering Pte Ltd (Main)

ETHOZ Automotive Solutions Ltd (Branch)

ETHOZ Automotive Solutions Ltd (Main)

Progressive Automotive

SME Auto

Sng Ah Tee Motor & Panel Service

STAR Automotive Centre
