Advice needed, to sell or not

i currently own a Feb 2004 W220 S280L, mileage at 89000+ Km.

Wondering if i should sell off while the car price is high or just keep it.

U got to ask yrself why would u to sell it? High maintenace & breakdown lately? Thinking will fetch a good price etc!! Inshort, u got tell us what's the reason. Present situation will be yr old car price will be low provided yr COE is same as present else sell price will be low & buy will be high. Orh welcome!!

thanks mate,

i guess partly i wanted to sell becos of the 2k road tax and 1.5k insurance.

But today my wife went to renew it without telling me so i guess she will want to keep the car for herself.

Been thinking cos we seldom use the tank and having tots to change to a slk or something smaller.

Currently the s tank is on 16rims..any idea where to change used rims?

In my opinion, if the car is not giving any major problems, you should drive it and enjoy the comfort of theW220. I'm driving a 2006 model too and hope to drive it till the end if no major setbacks. Jst my 2cts advise

In my opinion, if the car is not giving any major problems, you should drive it and enjoy the comfort of theW220. I'm driving a 2006 model too and hope to drive it till the end if no major setbacks. Jst my 2cts advise

Thanks! Nice to know u have the same vehicle..

Mine having problem with the Front driver side door sensor lock...

Button doesn't work to lock it..

By the way, ur w220 on 16 inch or 17inch or 18rims?

My currently on 16 n want to change to 18 but wonder if there is any cons to it

Higher fuel consumption i think !! but it might not really be true cuz we have a member here who upgrade to 19inchs and can go 800++km with his full tank on his new C though..

I'm on 20 inch amg3 rims. Door sensor costs abt 200 dlrs n problem can be rectified. Hope it helps
