fellow bros, isit me, or the c-class ac blower is like not strong even if u set it to middle fan speed.... isit due to the thickness of the air filter??:becky:

like my fren alfa... his ac fan speed is slow even at full blast... than he went to check and found out stock air filter too thick and change to a thinner 1 than his fan blower rate is better

eh bro.. its about time u lose weight lor. :P

i was abit amused to know that our c-class uses charcoal filter for our aircon. this was told to me by mr rahim the service advisor when i asked him abt why the ac fan blowing not that strong. he told me the filter is abit thick hence wind speed maybe slower than other makes

Just want to share my experience with charcoal filter in my Golf GTI. The aircon will smell sour pretty soon after a few months. I kept wondering where the smell come from. Went to buy a new charcoal filter & DIY...the smell went away. But it last only less than 6 months. Merc slightly better...can last only 1 yr.

The charcoal filter works well only when new, I also believe that becos of it's ability to remove & trap smelly air, it itself will start to smell after a while becos it gets mouldy.

i just did a full ac blasting (aka to kill germs and odour) similar to this product by autoglym Air-con Sanitizer 150ml(1).jpg

so far no sour smell.... see how long it last as its suppose to circulate into our car ac filter as well to kill the sour smell.
