Been troubled with intermittant noise coming from rear side windows. Like glass loosened type of noise when going over uneven surfaces. But noise is intermittant. Goes away especially when trouble shooting at C&C. Anyone can share similar problems and solutions? Wear & tear on weather seals?

Is yours a C&C car with reverse sensor display on the top of the rear window?

My 211 has this dual triangle reverse sensor display on the top of the rear window. Check the cabling of the display. It comes from the bottom and runs round the glass to the top. Make sure the cable is tuck in snugly to the groove train it resides in and is not moving.

What happened to mine was that the cable came lose and every time i went on rough surface it made this ticking sound as if the rear glass windows was lose. i trace it for the longest time until i got so frustrated and started banging on the rear glass with my fist and the sound came out! I thought the rear glass was loose but could not accept that a luxury car would have this loose ends not tighten. So I continue pounding the rear glass window and traced the sound until I found at the corner, near the door, the cable had come lose and was rattling inside the groove, bouncing between the rear glass and mounting. which causing this stupid noise as if the glass was loose....

hope this helps!!!
