Check it out anyone got 1 ? Seems like a really nice stand alone GPS with voice activation (ala command) and bluetooth and other nicities as well. Specs are below

$490 is the older version 3790. Newer version 3790V should be more expensive.

Sold my 3790 quite sometime back. Now using 2575 with TV and video recorder. Much nicer as it is 5 inch big screen!

Local or export bro. Price got difference wor! Most of the places sell one is export set wor. Mine is $699 wor. Got reciept to prove one but must get from my accounts clerk cos claim GST la. Selling because change of mind to install the command lor.

$490, don't even need to think. Go for it. It's a good GPS. BTW got warranty doesn't mean local set. Do abit of research. Frankly la, avoid sim lim at all cost. Anyway, some places selling REAL local sets at $588 only. But actually local or not, it is not a big issue.

Prices of all local sets dropped due to newer model available in the market. Brand new set from all authorized dealers here with local warranty, I.e. Local set are all around similar price. $490 will be the model without the V (no digital compass). The top end with V should just be slightly more than $500.

Easy to check. Just go to garmin.com.sg, check dealers list, call each of them for price.

They are ALL REAL LOCAL sets. $588 are old prices.

Looks like I have to sell cheaper or just toss it in the boot huh. It barely 3 months only. Price drop like crazy. Depreciate faster than my car. I call and ask C&C to push in my less than 3 months old E250 for a CLS, they say depreciate 15% but must wait 6 months. LTA ruling. Any bros change car frequently?

Change car can but cannot sell or transfer name for the 1st 6 mths.:becky:

Under LTA car Coe with cat A or cat B which the Coe is under the owner name cannot transfer/sell their car for the 1st 6 mths.

This is 1 of LTA policy to "prevent Coe speculation"

Under open cat Coe is 3 mths.
