Initial thoughts after going for the C-Coupe launch...

The new C-Coupe looks good - definitely has road presence...

Built-quality is also there - and the profile looks pretty slick - no more the "poorer cousin" like the CLC...

Come loaded with a lot of features, even the entry level C180 like 7-Gtronic etc

For that day, they were offering S$7k discount - this is because the initial batch came with Audio 20 while I heard that the subsequent batches will have the Command unit

Interestingly, they also opted not to bring in the C200 - the C250 as the next step up...

What I didn't quite like - boot space is quite bad - even worse than my previous Bimmer coupe (or maybe I didn't have time to fully play with the foldable seats)...

I didn't get into the back but from those people who did, I think they had some difficulty in doing so - even more so than my SO's mini...hahah

Oh, the C Coupe is available for test drive liao...hahah

yup, test drove the C350 yesterday, was great.................and the SLK200 CGI was great too............

impressived.........(value for money: in terms of ride, drive and power and space (depend on how big you are) cause we sure cant have the best of both world) and also depends on your lifestyle in terms of which variant suits you and your family

cheers

Bro, you sure about the command thingy? Cos I though got getting a C180 coupe for myself. Hmm... so is now a gd time to get or should I stay put and wait? Is the command unit worth S$7k? Or are there any more changes later on? Hope someone can shed some light

No need to wait, just get the car & install the command at a lower rate by local installer. From See&See is abt $9000++. Changes? Is an option!! Just tick & pay!! But if u want to play safe!! is good to wait for a year or so. By then all the dust will be settle.

SE at the C&C's C-coupe launch did say that add $7k for command online, not sure its the same as the command mentioned here...

$7k refers to online thingy not command. Based on the bronchure command shld be 9k plus.

note that i was told the command online only works with certain Nokia phones to get online...... not sure if it's really that useful.
