Hi all, would like to ask all seniors here as i

that whenever the gear is in D mode while

stepping on the brake, can feel the car seems

to vibrate, wondering if its the engine mounting,

when braking can feel the vibration? If yes, Is likely the brake mechanism is the caused. The usually suspect is wore out rotor (warp) & brake pad. Do check the caliper sign of crack etc which unlikely. Did ask the dealer when is the last servicing & what's the mileage of yr ride? During test drive u didn't feel the car vibrate when braking?

Orh!! Congras & welcome!!

high chances is the engine mounting.....

worst scenario could be engine itself running on low air/fuel mixture. idling rpm drop.... try cleaning up the carbon build up within the intake system first.

I think TS meant the car in D with brakes on.

TS, try this:

When you stop at a traffic light, with gearshift in D and stepping on the brake, does the car vibrate?

Next, shift your gear shift to neutral, does the car vibrate lesser or stop vibrating?

If answers to both above questions are yes, then most likely the engine mountings are due for change.

Car to C&C and they have confirm it's

the engine mounting.

I look thru all the posts on this thread and 3 MB doctors were correct with their diagnosis. They are tud tud, jhun_4040 & newc180. :hand::hand::hand:
