Hi.

Can I leave the headlights set to "auto" perpetually?

Will it premature kill the headlights?

Shldnt be, coz all the new models are on auto mode for the headlight. Then again I might be wrong.

what about on after market xenon hid lights? Last time I was always advised by the installers not to leave the lights on after shutting down ignition. vice versa. start engine first then activate your xenon......

so abit confused.

On the other hand , i set the option to switch on the lights when i unlock the car. fascinated by it.:bounce:

No issue for my previous ride on after market HID. Do you still practise off the air con before shutting the engine & every morn starts the engine, warm it up for one minutes or so then switch on the air con before driving off? If no means then shldnt worry too much on the headlight thingy :).

Enjoy ur car as it is. All the new models went thru hundreds of thousands of miles testing in all conditions. Just leave it to auto and enjoy the features.
