will be better if you narrow down the numbers that you want...since the bidding is close bidding, the costs of each bidding could be different and you are also competing with number bidding dealers...

Anyone can give rough estimate to bid

1. 3 similar digits eg 222, 555, 777, 666, 999

2. 4 similar digits eg 2222, 5555, 7777, 6666, 9999.

Your inputs much appreciated!

Thinking of bidding next round SKD

I got my number at $1008. Why $7 more than what is the cheapest? Cos I like ending it with an eight lor.

If I'm still correct with the bidding process, cos I've only been through once, is that, for any alphabet series, like the upcoming SKD, it will be a few weeks/cycle with all the numbers.

So, if at the 2nd cycle of the bidding week and you still see the number you want is still available, then no point putting in a high price for it, right ? Of course, this is provided that you think that the golden number which you want is not the "auspicious" kindda of number, like those ending with "8".

Thus, the later in the bidding cycle/week for that particular series you're in, the more confident you should feel about placing the lowest bid for that available number.

Just my 2cents here.

i bidded both car number $1018 ,... SGG and SKC series...SGG I went and do myself, quite tedious cos u need to go bank and buy bank draft then go to LTA to fill in the short form and drop inside box..for the SKC, i got my SE to go and do for me...:bounce:
