Walau....now 67k! Wonder if C&C managed to secure for the bros here who hv recently booked the FL C-class?

June 1st Round CnC put $58,300 - out bid

June 2nd Round CnC put $63,899 - out bid

In no hurry, cos car not here yet and the longer it takes, the higher the COE be it Cat B or Open Cat for me......hehehehe!

Heard July will be a further reduction in number of COEs!

Unker, C&C never ask for top up?

Look on the bright side; if C&C keep getting outbidded and by the time they secure it, they might give u the new M instead. :becky:

So that's good for your paper value. But when you sell, say after a couple of years, you can get a higher price ? Or will they based on your purchased price and depreciate it from there ?

Same as you. Got outbid! Yes, no hurry since SE said car not here yet! If car arrives, they will bid aggressively. I agree that the longer they take, the higher the Cat B will be for next few months. This round, many did not get it and majority got the COE came from new S class booking.

Yes based on yr purchase price, OMV etc this is how the dealer calculated the value of the car depreciation & not based on new price. Remember the F10 saga super low OMV? those whom brought it, their resale value will be much lower. But end of the day, the demand & supply is the factor.

In the year of 2006 the body of Toyota corolla is $5000 & above of the BMW 320i 6 cylinder model. Reason for being is due to demand nothing else even yr bimmer mods till can fly also pointless!! Vincemerz take note hor!!

My take is that the open cat $$$ will follow suit!

So 6 bids guaranteed COE package - after 6 bids they have to give me a COE.

Meanwhile let me go & put in more mileage to my W212 and maybe hantam s/d enak2.......hehehe en!

Like that makes no difference if COE high or low, its either AD make more money or LTA make more money, doesn't benefit us at all. I thougt if COE chiong all the way to 100K, then those who buy at 60k COE will be able to drive for free for a few years, or make some money when they sell.

not very true leh.

my 2 recent experiences, i.e. selling my '10 E90 and wife's '10 P107, the dealers took in i.a.w. prevailing prices [not just body + COE + OMW], so if the COE is up, your selling price will go up too.

Prices of COE determine the new car prices which will directly affect the prices of re-sale car.

I traded in my Y2008 E90 and it way way above the paper value of the car.The COE is 14k and paper value was around 40k.

Just one thing, COE higher = higher depreciation .... but higher paper value. In any case, if prices of COE drops, re-sale price will also drop as buyers will buy new car at a lower price. Noone will bother about paper value.
