Change the color of the backlight on your air-con console ?

Currently is orange.. i was thinking if can change it to other colors ?

Send yr ride to audio workshop to desolder & resolder the LED color of yr choice. Since your on to it, must well change the console panel LED too & paint the odo needle to red etc. These kinda of mods is nice but the risk is high, such as damage to the control panel etc in the process of dismantling.

U damn right - nice to have but risk of damage is high.

Beside prying & dismantling, not too sure U can get right to the LEDs.

Manufacturer always like to ultrasonic sealed these plastic parts.

Another consideration if die die must try but with less risk is to go over eBay Germany and look for similar used parts i.e buy the whole air-con console.

They are usually very cheap provided they wanna ship internationally!

With that U can "conduct surgery" prior to mod or for "studies or practices"

I just found out and realize:

When we open the door and drive, the cluster display will turn RED.

Also when you are driving too high and rev beyond red line, the cluster also turn red in the middle !!

Therefore, i think this project will, and can work ! Look like it time for working on this liao !!!
