All S class & some W204 with intelligent light package option also have.

The trick is the datacard must show "intelligent light system"

look for the string of alphanumeric on the b-pillar of the driver side... PM bro camber53 and get him to generate your ride's "NRIC" for you... it contains all the details of your car's components...

Headlights can't be switch off is a standard Mercs. Yap rssid has point u the right direction to swap all the yellow bulbs to white. Also change the interior to white LED too. Check yr manual, I think DRL can be continous set to on.

How come u dump yr A4?

anyone know why the intelligent lighting system in my car works so strange.

when i enable daytime running lights, the headlights and the eyelid lights just turns on permanently. is there a way to shut off the main beams and just the eyelids?

tot DRL is not mainbeams....

responding to blackmercs:

i had a4 for about a year totally cant stand the jerkiness at low speed. the steering has no feel and car drive is quite boring as it's on FWD and CVT. I still prefer RWD cars. BM and Mercs are far more exciting drive.

I see, but Mercs have issue into upgrading the horses. Is quite a turn off for ex audi drivers though. No issue for you?

As for the steering feels, Mercs at slow speed also not much feel but trust me you will like it eventually as is a breeze for parking. Comfort wise I think is hard to compare among BM, Audi & Mercs. Frankly, I like Mercs bcos there isn't much for you to mods as they quite generous on the function & features if you look at new C class facelift model u will get what I mean.

I had a Q5 for 3 mths and did mTm stage 1.

change to a A4 B8 2.0 TFSI Quattro for 4 mths and return back to a Merc with the W212 E250.

:welcome: to the world of Merc and hope U enjoy your ride!

I am not into mods so no issue for me. Before a4 b8 i had 3 series and i would say the drive is better than a4 and mercs. However, it gave me too many issues like malfunction central lock, white gas leak from exhaust and water tank leak. I switched to a4 after the ewarranty expired. Mercs is luxurious in interior but space wise a4 wins all. It depends on what we looking at....hehe

Heard hid is illegal and will void car warranty. is it better to just change to diamond white bulb instead? For amg rim, is it better to change to 17 or 18 amg rims? My current stock on 17. Cheers bro

If you hv concern on warranty being void is better sticks to stock or purchase the stuffs from See&See directly. If you on 17" then upgrde to 18", but may I know why you want to upgrade the rim size? For the look?

I see, if for the look then the 17" will be good. I m sure U hv no plan for lower spring. Actually upgrade the rim size is not for the look. Is increase the tyre profile on road handling, safety etc

This 17" looks good, can consider. Hope this bru let go to you at good deal, happy seller happy buyer!!
