'M' and Sports Button

Dear Gurus,

I have just collected my ride and I am kinda confused with the Dynamic Driving buttons. Before collection I thought the button to switched to sports mode will be the M button around the gearstick area. Upon collection I realised that other than the former, there is also a sports button at the dashboard radio area. Mind enlightening me on what this is for? Is it to be pressed when I am in sports attire? :becky:

M button is for manual drive mode.

as urs is dynamic handling, your Sport button is at the aircon panel front.

if u dont press anythig, default is C.

bro, good stuff with the new car... congrats and welcome to the family... :becky:

by default, if you don't press any button, your car is programmed to drive comfortably and also in it's most fuel-efficient state...

M lets you determine your upshifts/downshifts with the right/left of the touchshift... the gears don't change until you do the shifting yourself...

"Sports" button on your panel activates your dynamic handling characteristic of your car... you will find that your suspension hardens to allow for better road-holding and your steering resonates that aspect with sharper handling... at the same time, the gears hang in the upper regions of your powerband for much longer... play around with it for a bit and experience for yourself how the car behaves when you're in this mode... in short, press this button when you're feeling aggressive and want to drive spiritedly...

hope this helps... :bounce:

Thanks bros for the enlightenment!! Will give the button a try when I am done running in. Schedule these few days is such that I have only done a hundred km since collection. Looks like I have a long long way to go... If you guys see a tortoise diamond white cab on the road, that will be me. :becky:
