we are all happy family. Can ask Audi group to join in the fun too. Coz nowdays alot of bimmer guy are now in the Audi group.

How about spending a bit of money to create stickers "www.sgmerc.com" and stick on our front and back windscreen.

have to pool money from donation, merchandising like golf cap & golf umbrella first.

else engage an event company to do a merc island treasure hunt or fuel saving drive, some sort along the line, winner win $500 petrol voucher. The participant have to pay say $100 - $200 to take part. let the event company earn also, but at the same time we can treat it as advertising.

once upon a time when i was driving a nissan, some event company organize a nissan 3D2N drive up north with tan cheong to create awareness and it turn out quite fantastic. that event involve committee from nissan enthu club also.

a organized drive will be fun. VAGSG just did a drive up to phuket last month and was well received.

Even a breakfast drive in malaysia is good.

have been looking around and find that you all seem to like your merc very much. bet no one as sway as me to find my W204 in workshop average 3 days every month since i drove it out of see n see in Sep last year!

My Sep 2010 W204 CGI has been problem-free all this while.

the last time i drove up by myself was about 3 yrs ago. stopped over at penang for one nite before straight to phuket. On the returning trip, i decided to drive non-stop. Took about 14 hrs.

For the recent trip by VAGSG, i believe they stopped overnight at hatyai instead. The roads in thailand, esp near phuket is beautiful.

I once drove to KL in 4 hours and i was already regretting about it.. i cant imagine 14 hours up n down man..:shocked:

How come? What kinda of speed? 4 hrs with 1 or 2 toilet break u shld be driving at 100 to 110 kph? Try to max it around 200kph, u will be hungry for more .

once i drove to Malacca i kana 2 fines in less than 1 hour span! then i feel not worth already..

moreover the previous car steering was abit stiff, wasnt in very good condition so din dare to go so fast too
