Today's papers for the C class ad has this Agility Challenge for people to whack the new car in a timed circuit & stand to win a prize. The last time I attended 3 yrs ago was fun & had FTD for that day.

Anyone here signed up?

There's also a Mercedes Driving Experience running concurrently in July, anyone signed this up also?

Called today and they can only confirmed C and E class for the Driving Experience. 1 to 1 session with all Aussie instructors. Thinking of signing up but read from previous post that the Singapore sessions are very poorly ran. Any bros attended before ? Comments ?

Not true, I have attended several by Audi, Lexus & Porsche, & the Merc one is the best! The instructors are very pro.

There was a timed circuit challenge as promotional program by Daimler to launch the new W204 in 2007. It was held in Police Academy and one was required to complete a twist and turn, start and stop circuit to score the shortest time for a prize. It was fun and it was also the time that I found that the W204 was slow at standstill acceleration. It was a typical Merc retarded reaction to a hard slam down pedal.

The ESP was also put into use at a sharp corner turn. It was so protective in its programming that I can feel the car actually hold back the horses, put on slight brake to prevent the car from going out of the turn even when I slammed hard on the pedal after taking the corner.

If this coming one is going to be something like this, I urge everyone to sign up. I will sign up if it's free. :becky: Pressured to clock the fastest timing and yet fun to whack the car.

One guy even crashed the car into the big plastic road divider used in road works. Again, the car proved that it can take some knocking.

The Agility Challenge should be free, but need to apply for a slot. The Merc Driving experience will set you back $500 for a whole day affair.

Cklasse is right about the fun in the 2007 challenge in the old PA. I was there too.

Where got free one. I received a mailer from Merc on this, from 28 jul to 7 aug. cost is $300 for weekday, $500 for weekends.

JTang, unfortunately I'm playing host to some friends this Sun, but I'm likely to sign up for one of the weekday.

Bro, don't get mixed up with these 2 separate events. The Agility Challenge is a promotional event for the launch of the new W204. This one is free, but need to apply for limited slots. The Mercedes Driving Experience is a whole day affair which costs $300 or $500 like you said.
