Hi folks, after I release my brakes, my W204 doesn't move roll forward slowly like how it should be under Drive mode, it feel as though the brakes are stuck there, I must pump my brakes a few times to "release" the car to move smoothly again.

Any ideas what's happening?

Did u pull the hand release brake all the way? Did u hear any grinding sound while moving at slow speed?

Bro. yes, did you check whether your handbrake fully release? if so, can you recall in recent did you changed your brake pads or adjustment/ alignment of your rotors or upgrade your brake hoses? Otherwise, cant think of any fault unless at tat moment you re on an uneven road that gotta your frt wheels stack! Just a tot.

Tx and a good day. :becky:

Yap if all checks are clear & the problem still persist, send it to workshop for medical checkup or slam the brake hard couple of times the problem shld be gone!!

Bro Catalyst,

i have experienced before what u have described.

if u have stepped on the brakes for a few times intermittently without fully letting go of brakes, moving forward n reversing backwards by inches, then the brakes will get 'stuck' n your ride wont move even u go in 'D'.. it will kinda release after 2 secs.

went bk see n see pandan loop to check on brakes bcos of this issue.

usual reply : nothing wrong... :tsk:

Bros, my suspects. Yr brake hose. Cosmetic look doesn't tell at all. Asked C&C to flash n refill yr brake fluid even if warranty period expiry. :tsk:

professional job request as this s most important tat saved life than others ie: bhp, bodykit etc..

Yo bro io5885,

smart move. I suspect yr brake fluid runs low till excess bubble formed or during yr previous service, yr workshop didnt bleed correctly tat causes air gap. I suspect only as i maybe wrong. :tsk: Oh..which starblack branch will u be headg? I wanna drop by their ubi branch to make some enquiry. My ride needed change engine oil, oil filter.

oh..was u there fr mthly gtg? I was n w my two kids! :music:
