Guys I leave office usually about 610pm and these days the evening still pretty bright but my HL is already on. Not a prob but I just like to know who else also noticed this. I travel from jurong east on PIE to changi direction. Just curious also if anyone got c&c to adjust the sensitivity if it can even be done. Thanks.

Not sure if we C&C could adjust the sensitivity. But I am experiencing the same situation as well, sometimes my auto lights came on in the morning as well.

I suspect the sensor is tuned to detect the presence or absence of UV rays, not just light. :)

Sometimes at 7am, it is bright enough but the lights come on anyway.

find that the auto HL too sensitive to turn on and insensitive to turning off.

once parked in the shade n the HL came on. drove off for like 3-5 min in the bright afternoon sun then it finally wised up.

OT a bit. I read somewhere that HID lights should not be switched on and off too fast each time, meaning you need to allow the bulb to get "hot". By switching it off too soon before it gets hot, reduces the life span of the bulb. Not sure how true this is.

Coming back to this Auto Head Light feature, I know that some of the W204 do not have that "0" at its 12 o'clock, which means you cannot then turn off the darn auto feature off completely. Thus, perhaps to think twice if you are considering HID lights.

I read tat too but I not worry about it coz if burn out just visit mr Steve. ;)

But I also think those cars factory fitted with xenon will also be affected since we have so many tunnels and basement parking and mscp which cause frequent on/off

really like the HIDs. Haha helps me keep reckless lane changer at bay sometimes coz honestly bright lights gives impression of car moving quicker. Hahaha. Coz i also dun change lane when I spied a HID coming.

HID is cool. Nice and bright light. Just don't understand why there are some drivers on our brightly lit roads in this country switch on their FOG LIGHTS. Cool is it?
