My previous c180cgi was bought at $138k the day before it shoot up to $168k.

The trade in + overtrade was $135. Add in the promo & cash rebate. It make sense to change.

Chiaster, ur ride c and c should be able to take in 145k max. U sell itself maybe 155k.

My suggestion is stay with ur cgi. New doesn't always equate to better.

The top up u pay can give you more other things in life!

How old is your C180 CGI ?

Just past 1 year old (Jun'10), COE $40002.00. I checked with few outside dealers but they quoted me at a range from $132K to $137K only! C&C salesman said C180 CGI selling for $150K +++ is too high won't sell fast, moreover there would be many CGI models in the 2nd hand market from next month!!

The C180 CGI too new lah. Still got a lot of supply of the cheaper 1.6 C180 Komp which would naturally draw attention away from the CGI.

I reckon a better time to sell would be ard 2.5yrs old. Allow for some depreciation and diff in $$ between new and used so it becomes more meaningful for someone looking 2nd hand but still hv warranty left for that peace of mind.

Strongly agree for keeping the car C180 CGI for another 1-2yrs & wait till W205.

There are too many Kompressor around & the last 2 units of CGI took almost 1mth to sell in sgcarmart.

Saw on the Republic Auto website a 01/10 C180 CGI asking for 152k. If they makan Bro Martin's car at $137k, then their margin about $15k.

If want to buy, offer at most 143k ......actually, that's a pretty good buy for a 1 yr old ride.
