Bro Cerano mentioned to me when I bot my car that there is a problem with the folding mirrors for the W204.

My car is barely six months old and now there is a loud winding noise on the passenger's side when the side mirror closes.

Anyone has a DIY solution ? Or do I have to send the car in to C&C to rectify the problem ?

Thanks in advance for the advise...

Same as my W212 barely 6 months - both L/R mirror.

Since I serviced my car every 6 mths - I instructed CnC to lubricate the mirror during servicing.

Another 6 mths is coming up - so far so good!

Just go back to C&C and ask them to do something...lubricate and some adjustments...

Hi Bro,

It's just the squeaky winding sound, but mirror still folds ? Mine had this sound on-off too, also passenger side. I am thinking of sending in for check

It a norm issue for W204. When I am still having my ride, sent in to Eunos SC, talk to German Engineer, being told there is a new version of the side mirror, after a day stay there, no sound for 3 mths. After that back to hrrr sound.. Sigh..

My problem seems to be intermintent ... the noise seems to be getting softer. Anyhow, will complain when I send my car in for the 15k service in about 2 to 3 months.
