I intend to install mainly for the GPS system, C&C gonna give me a GPS with traffic updates live which I have no time to collect. Can I have some honest end user reviews? Is it good? Any function you will be missing if you don't have your command system? Die die must have?

IMO Comand sys good for impressive 7" motorized screen(W204) songs on CF card no messy wires running to GPS nice and factory looking. However navi for comand does not look/work as easy as the garmin or other sys we are used to as some postal code no. not inside the system and to use voice control also a bit complicated.

A benefit tho is that comand does not lose tracking when going into tunnels/underground as it senses the amt of dist traveled via the ECU if im not wrong. Also it does look cool.

Die Die must have ? Well if you've got the spare $$ lying around and wanna seperate yourself from the rest why not ?

Have a look through the manual for comand see if you can understand and give it a go.

Another method is to stick with your audio20 and retrofit a MMI which will be approx 2-3k cheaper and give you the functionality of the garmin base which we're more fimilar with.

Wow, the map and direction sure looks complicated. I still can't drive to alot of places not having the GPS, my friends joke, please call a cab and ask the driver to drive to the designation while you follow behind. You have been a great help though. :becky:

I have finally got time to go to C&C to get my free Gamin GPS with live traffic feed. Damn many wires. Makes me feel like installing command but I don't like command maps. Heck!

I've both Command & Garmin GVN53 display on the Command 7" screen.

After 5 mths, I can live without the Garmin maps though I always update it to the latest with choices from Jerome Wee, MFM & MSM maps.:hand:

I still keep an old Nuvi 670 & the CnC Nuvi 146o for trips.:becky:

C&C give me Nuvi 3790V with voice activated navi and live traffic feed. I think worth $699. Don't know want to sell it or not?:becky:

I bought the 3970 from IT show this year, sold it after 3 months after the installing Comand.

U will miss the traffic update and auto detour if plotted route is jammed bad. However, SG traffic and the increase in car, Aiya, during peak hrs where also jam one la.

The voice activation is cool with 3970 but does not fully recognize alphanumeric, Comand is just a button away.

I do not have time today to list everything out, maybe another day.

Bottom line, after comand is installed, No regrets. Dash board looks neater, and flushed, no messy cables leading to the inconvenient centre console where we stash the coins.

Finally a fully accepted organ by your ride, that requires no further procrastination. ^^

Mine was proudly installed by camber.
