w212 using Navigation 50 (UK) in south east asia

Hello bros from malaysia, recently owned a w212, car was from UK. Came equipped with a navigation 50 system (not comand, this is with the 5.8" screen).

I found out the system's region is locked to europe countries only. Same goes to the navigation, only europe map in it. Somehow i managed to borrow a S.E.A. navigation dvd from a friend which bought a w212 locally, tried to install the map in my navigation 50 but failed. Disc enters and ejects without initiating any installation nor giving any error message, just "ejecting disc". That's all.

Checked on internet, apparently navigation 50 can only install europe maps. Makes my heart break instantly.:Cry: Thought the built-in navigation could be handy. Didn't want the external GPS spoil the lines of my car.

Is there anyone here who faces the same situation? Anyone succeeded in converting the system to a S.E.A. one?

IIRC, What U found out is correct i.c no SEA Map for APS50 except Command NTG 4 for W212. Dun think there's a solution except to convert your HU to NTG 4.

The audio 50 does not have a map for southeast Asia ...

I have install many comand unit for those car is with audio50
